Progression to Post-16 Education Report
This higher education research project, funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, explored the views and experiences of young people, parents and teachers in relation to understanding and knowledge of educational progression and opportunities. In an inner city area, characterised by social and economic disadvantage, this research makes some surprising and insightful findings which challenge pervading stereotypes. »» Find out more
Tuition Fees for Asylum Seekers
Asylum seekers, children of an asylum seeker or unaccompanied asylum seeking children who meet the academic programme requirements will be eligible for a tuition fee concession equivalent to the difference between the ‘home’ and ‘overseas’ rate while their application is under consideration by the Home Office (provided that proof of an application for asylum in the UK has been made is available). The concession will apply to full-time undergraduate programmes of study only and Foundation programmes (but only where tuition fees are payable directly to the University of Leeds). Postgraduate programmes and programmes leading to the award of MBChB or the BDS will be excluded. For more information contact admissions@leeds.ac.uk
