Access and Community Engagement

Schools

The University of Leeds runs activities for schools in a wide range of different subjects from archaeology to zoology.

The Access Academy coordinates activities in specific subjects for Gifted and Talented Pupils as
well as the following more general activities that introduce pupils to higher education:

Talks and interactive workshops on wide range of general subjects including applying to university, university life and student finance

Higher Education Experience Days for years 9 and 10

HEFCE Summer School for Year 11

Aimhigher

The University of Leeds is an active member of the West Yorkshire Aimhigher partnership. We welcome applications from students who have participated in Aimhigher activities.
