Details

Deborah is halfway through her first year and wonders whether she has made the right decision in doing a degree. Deborah is doing well and academically feels she can cope with the course.

However is finding it almost impossible to juggle all the expectations her family has of her. Deborah has had a series of jobs but seemed better able to manage the jobs and demands of home life.

But now she also has to do coursework most evenings and often at the weekend. This has also affected her relationship with her partner who encouraged her to do the degree and is good at sharing home tasks but is jealous about the lack of attention he is getting.

Deborah feels pulled in a number of directions, feels guilty and depressed.
