The French Elections and the Global Far Right - Lecture and Roundtable

Lecture by Prof Jim Shields on the French Far Right and Roundtable on the Global Far Right, to mark the first round of the French Presidential Elections.

Sunday 23 April marks the first round of the French Presidential Elections, in which it is predicted the Far-Right candidate, Marine Le Pen, will come first and therefore enter the second round run off with Emmanuel Macron.  

In light of this and other recent global elections, Dr Nina Wardleworth (French, LCS), Dr Claire Eldridge (History) and Dr Elizabeth Leake (History) would like to invite you to an event on 'The French Elections and the Global Far Right' between 2.00 and 4.30pm on Wednesday 26 April.
