Courses and workshops for English Language and Academic Literacy Skills

During your first year of study (pre-Transfer), our Language Centre offers courses and workshops at two levels to help with your English language development:

  • Core Language Skills 1 (ideally undertaken in the first 6 months of study)
  • Core Language Skills 2 (undertaken before Transfer)

At both levels, there are:

  • Six-week academic writing courses
  • Individual workshops which address a range of skills

All courses and workshops are repeated throughout the year.

Not sure what support is best for you? Download the 'Quick Check' tool here.
