Joint honours courses allow you to study two subjects in depth and graduate with an honours degree covering both disciplines. The intellectual range of such a degree, together with the organisational skill in combining two subject areas, makes you very attractive to employers.
As a joint honours student you'll study the same compulsory modules as single honours students, but fewer optional and discovery modules. We'll allocate you a personal tutor to help guide your module choices and offer support, as well as act as a point of contact for references.
The University of Leeds offers one of the largest choices of joint honours courses in the UK, and you can combine English with a range of different subjects. A full list of combinations can be found here.
