We have a generous range of funding available for postgraduate study from School, University and external sources.  In all cases, candidates must first have applied for a place of study before applying for scholarships.

A full list of scholarships can be found on the University website.

School of History and Institute for Medieval Studies MA Scholarships

Up to four taught masters scholarships are available at a value of £14,500 each (as a full/partial fee waiver and partial cash award where the fees are less than the award).

To apply for a School of History and Institute for Medieval Studies MA scholarship, please complete the application form and return it by email to: HistoryPGT@leeds.ac.uk before the deadline of 4 May 2018 at 17:00 (UK time)

If you apply for a University-administered scholarship, you will automatically be considered for a School of History and Institute for Medieval Scholarship and you do not need to complete the School scholarship application form. 

Alumni Bursary

If you are a former student of the University of Leeds, you may be eligible for a 10% alumni tuition fee bursary.  Find out more about the University of Leeds Alumni bursary.
