careers advice

The detailed and specialist careers guidance provided by our award-winning Careers Centre is available to you throughout your time at the University, and even after you graduate.

The Careers Centre delivers specialist events, networking opportunities, advice and guidance, recruitment fairs and professional development opportunities. The annual Arts Careers Expo is just one of the specialist events designed to highlight where your arts degree can take you.

In partnership with the Careers Centre, and as part of the Leeds for Life project, we provide bespoke advice in adapting your skills, CVs and experience to employer expectations and offer you one-to-one appointments with a qualified careers advisor.

Our Work Placement Advisor can help you set up an internship and work experience, and is also able to support you in sourcing and applying for industrial placements should you wish to take a year in industry.
