Open days and visit days

Before you apply to study with us we recommend that you attend one of our open days. These take place several times a year and are a great opportunity to see the campus and speak with our staff and students. If you can't make it to any of the upcoming dates, please contact us to arrange an independent visit. You can find out when the next open days are here.

If you're made an offer of a place with us, you'll be invited to attend a visit day. These provide more opportunities to interact with staff and current students, as well as meet other people who have been made offers on your course.

How to apply

You can apply to study on our undergraduate courses through UCAS, and use UCAS Track to follow the progress of your application. More information can be found on the UCAS website here.

Entry requirements

The qualifications and grades needed to apply are different for each course. Please check the listing for your chosen course before applying to make sure you meet the entry requirements. We also accept a range of alternative UK, European and international qualifications - you can find a full list here.

Access to Leeds

Access to Leeds is the University of Leeds' widening participation scheme. The scheme guarantees special consideration for eligible applicants whose personal circumstances may affect their ability to demonstrate their full potential through grades alone. More information is available on the Access to Leeds website here.

Mature students

We welcome applications from mature students, and accept a range of qualifications. If you do not currently meet the entry requirements for  the course you wish to study, you may be able to enter through study with the Lifelong Learning Centre. Mature students, including those from disadvantaged or under-represented groups, can study many different full- and part-time courses including a foundation year leading into various arts and humanities undergraduate courses. You can find out more here.

Transferring from another university

We understand that sometimes circumstances change and you might want to join us by transferring from another university. If you wish to explore this option, you should check the coursefinder entry for your chosen course to make sure you meet the entry requirements and find the right contact details - these can be found here.
