Postgraduate study in Classics at the University of Leeds

Postgraduate Study in Classics

Postgraduate study in Classics at Leeds offers you the chance to study in one of the largest UK postgraduate communities. We currently have postgraduate researchers in our thriving community who come from all over the world including Italy and Greece.

Several of our postgraduate researchers have had papers accepted for international colloquia, including the highly competitive annual conference of the UK’s Classical Association and the American Philological Association.

A high proportion of our taught postgraduates and postgraduate researchers are successful in gaining funding for their studies either from University scholarships, bursaries from Classics or sponsorship from their home government.

As a postgraduate researcher at Leeds you will have access to our outstanding facilities including the Brotherton Library which houses our special collections and the Leeds Humanities Research Institute which exists to support the development of researchers' careers. As a member of the Russell Group, Leeds puts research at the heart of the University, and our research pages can give you a brief overview on the research taking place in Classics at Leeds.
