We offer a number of taught and research programmes at postgraduate level. Our teaching is developed by active research and in consultation with professionals working in the field, to provide teaching informed by the latest developments and debates in practice.
Taught Masters Programmes
Our Masters (MA) programmes are primarily aimed at professionals and graduates who wish to develop their ethical thinking, especially as it relates to professional practice.
We offer three Taught Postgraduate MA programmes, all of which are available as online distance learning courses:
- Biomedical and Health Care Ethics (MA/MRes/PGDip) - learn about the ethical issues that arise across all areas of medicine and health care practice. This programme is available on campus as well as an online distance learning course, and as an intercalating degree.
- Applied and Professional Ethics (MA/PGDip) - develop skills and knowledge that can help you engage more effectively with ethical issues in professional life.
- Philosophy of Religion and Ethics (MA/PGDip/PGCert) this programme addresses fundamental questions in philosophy of religion and ethics.
All of our courses are available on a full-time or part-time basis.
Professional Ethics Short Courses
We offer two short courses by online distance learning in Professional Ethics. The courses are studied over 8 weeks, and leads to 15 credits at postgraduate level. More information can be found on our Short Course page.
Postgraduate Research Opportunities
