Open Day 2016

The Open Day will take place on Wednesday 30th November 2016 and will be your opportunity to meet with staff and current research students, learn more about the research application process and funding opportunities, explore our campus and facilities, as well as finding out how a postgraduate research degree from Leeds can benefit you.

The provisional programme of the day is as follows:

11.00 – 12.30 An introductory presentation from the School's Director of Postgraduate Research, information about the School and research applications, a tour of School facilities and the University campus, and an opportunity to talk to current postgraduate researchers.

12.30 – 1.30 Lunch in the School of Music with an opportunity to discuss ongoing research projects with postgraduate researchers.

1.30 – 3.00 An introduction to research at the University from the Directors of the Arts, Humanities and Cultures Graduate Schools followed by research funding presentations on AHRC/WRoCAH Studentships and University of Leeds Scholarships.

3.00 – 4.00 One-to-one meetings with School academics about research proposals. 

The event will be suitable for anyone interested in postgraduate research in any of the following Schools:
