The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures was formed in August 2016 and hosts Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) involved in a range or multidisciplinary research areas across nine schools; Design; English; Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies; History including the Institute for Medieval Studies; Languages, Cultures and Societies; Media and Communication; Music, Performance and Cultural Industries; Philosophy, Religion and the History of Science.

The Faculty has a strong history of interdisciplinary PGR work and support for this innovative approach to research.
