Over the years we have been home to some of the greatest authors and critics in the field. J.R.R. Tolkien, Geoffrey Hill, G. Wilson Knight and A. Norman Jeffares have all taught here, and we are proud to count world-renowned writers like Wole Soyinka and Ngugi wa Thiong'o among our alumni.
