Study abroad
View pages in this documentWhat is study abroad?
The Study Abroad programme is an exciting and challenging opportunity to gain experience of living and studying in another culture as part of your degree. Students can apply to spend a year at a partner university between their second and third year.
Why study abroad?
Studying abroad will help you gain confidence, broaden your horizons, and develop skills and experiences which can improve your future employability. Employers appreciate the cultural awareness and resourcefulness demonstrated by a period of time spent overseas, as well as the maturity required to adjust to, and succeed within, a new context and learning environment.
Where can I go?
The Department has exchange links with Aarhus University in Denmark, the University of Nantes in France and the University of Madrid in Spain.
More information can be found on the University's Study Abroad website.
