The Department offers both taught courses and research degrees at postgraduate level. We have particularly strong postgraduate traditions in the study of Islam, Hinduism and Sikhism in Britain, in African religious traditions, in modern theology, and in religion and social theory. Our MA programmes and the research topics chosen by many students reflect our interest in the engagement between religion and public life in the UK and beyond.
