Postgraduate studies in French

You can pursue your studies in French or related subject areas at postgraduate level on one of the taught MA programmes offered by the School of Modern Languages and Cultures. (See Taught postgraduate admissions in the left hand menu).

For details of programmes available you can search the University's coursefinder

We also offer research supervision.  French at Leeds currently has 20 full-time members of staff whose research covers the whole range of French studies. Staff interests can be found in the "People" section.  The French holdings of the University library are among the most complete in the country and are particularly rich in a number of fields including early printed books, newspapers and periodicals, the background to the European Union, and an unparalleled 20th-century archive.
