Issue 5: 2010
At Leeds we pride ourselves on research-led teaching and the 2010 German studies undergraduate dissertations are an excellent example of this in practice. The aim of the final year dissertations is to allow students to develop and demonstrate their ability to write an extended piece of work in German, drawing on some aspect of their programme or of their experience of life in Germany which they have found to be of special interest.
