View pages in this documentAll members of the Department of Russian and Slavonic studies are active in a wide range of research fields covering the literature, culture and society of the Russia and Slavonic countries. Our teaching is informed by our research, enabling us to share our enthusiasm and ensuring memorable classes. We also have a vibrant and expanding postgraduate community and have been particularly successful in recent years in securing postgraduate scholarships with the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
