August-December 2010: Visiting Fellowship of Claire Honess at the University of Notre Dame (USA), funded by a Leverhulme Study Abroad Fellowship
September 2010: Workshop on Dante in France, co-organised with Prof. Russell Goulbourne of the Department of French.
This event, attended by scholars from all over the UK, examined Dante's reception in France from the Middle Ages to the present day.
November 2010: Visit of Bob Durling to the LCDS with a talk entitled "An Introduction to Dante's Paradiso"
December 2010: Announcement of results of 2010 LCDS Undergraduate Essay Prize
January 2011: Newton International Fellow: Dr Anna Pegoretti.
Dr Pegoretti will spend two years in the LCDS, carrying out research on Franciscanism in Dante's Florence.
March 2011: Undergraduate Study Days in Cork and Leeds
