Expo14 - another successful employability extravaganza

The annual Arts and PVAC Expo returned earlier this month to promote employability opportunities for students across the two faculties.

The Faculties of Arts and Performance, Visual Arts and Communications (PVAC) joined forces to deliver Expo14.

The annual employability extravaganza was open to all students who study subjects in either of the faculties including: english, music, history, languages, design, fine art and many more.

The event featured workshops, alumni & expert panels and one-to-one career advice surgeries all in one day.

The panels offered a fantastic chance for students to take part in a Q&A session with alumni and other experts. Speakers gave an insight into a number of careers and industries including: arts admin and heritage, music performance and production, public sector and policy, the Third sector, working with languages and creative writing and publishing.

The event was a huge success and proved to be a fantastic opportunity for current students, experts and alumni to network.
