LCS students highly commended in the Undergraduate Awards

Three students from LCS are named Highly Commended Entrants.

University of Leeds students have done very well in the list of Highly Commended Entrants in this year’s Undergraduate Awards.  There are 14 students from across the University and three from LCS!

Katherine Handy (Classics)

Wandia Wahogo (German)

Rachael De’Bell (Linguistics)

A Highly Commended Entrant is identified as being 'an outstanding academic at the international level' and this year, was picked from 5117 submissions by students in 255 universities across 39 countries!

The winners - the top performer in each of the 25 categories in both the Irish and International programmes - are to be announced on 23 September. The Undergraduate Awards Global Summit, a unique invitation-only event brings together the Highly Commended Entrants and Winners in Dublin on 10-13 November.
