Kate Fox - writer, performer and PhD student with the School of Performance and Cultural Industries - continues to treat listeners with her appearances on BBC radio.
Currently in the third year of a practice-based PhD on class and gender in stand-up comedy, Kate is an active member of the live literature community, a regular speaker on panels and radio shows, and a writer of poems, stories and journalism. You can find out more her work on her website.
Kate is also something of a BBC Radio regular - her comedy series 'The Price of Happiness', which explores the clash between societal expectation and individual aspiration, is currently airing on Radio 4; you can listen to it here.
Outside of her regular series, Kate recently shared her poetry on Radio 4's Woman's Hour for the launch of Hull's Women of the World Festival, and on Radio 5 Live for their examination of the Government's spring budget - you can listen to the programmes here and here respectively.
