Students without Borders I Spanish & French language programme

Students without Borders is available for students wishing to improve their French or Spanish in a medical context.

Running for 16 weeks from October - March with a 90 minute class each week, 'Students without Borders' is an extra-curricular language programme for students of Medicine, Dentistry, Healthcare and those who are intercalating.

Prerequisites 

French (GCSE level +): Wednesdays 17:30 – 19:00, teaching starts Wednesday 11 October

Spanish (AS level +): Thursdays 17:30 – 19:00, teaching starts Thursday 5 October

Students wishing to refresh their language skills and for independent learning resources alongside their language learning, can use the Language Zone (level 2 of the Parkinson Building) and Rosetta Stone.

SwB provides an opportunity to develop communication skills in French or Spanish at an advanced level in a clinical context, particularly useful in enhancing a student's CV and offering access to opportunities such as an international placement.
