Georgia joined the Department in 2005 as a Lecturer in Medical Ethics and Research Fellow in the IDEA CETL
Before coming to Leeds she completed a BPhil at Oxford and then moved to University College, London to write her PhD, on which she is still working, and which concerns problems in accounting for the moral significance of the number of people affected by our actions.
While at UCL she was the Executive Secretary of the Aristotelian Society and of the British Philosophical Association.
