Area of responsibility

Teacher of Modern Greek; Design, Delivery and Assessment of FLTU1500 Greek for Beginners.  Have also taught Elementary, Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate levels since joining the Foreign Language Teaching Unit in 2008.

Other teaching experience

Since 1997:  Leeds Metropolitan University, Carnegie Faculty, School of Languages.
I teach Modern Greek as part of the part-time community programme which has 7 levels from Beginners through to advanced.  
I have also had a number of annual teaching assignments in Modern Greek at several locations, including various Park Lane College sites and privately.

Qualifications

Graduate of Athens University (Law). Certificate in Teaching European Languages (CTEL) specializing in Greek, Leeds Metropolitan University, awarded by Trinity College, London.

Professional interests

Language acquisition; exploring ways of making the learning of Greek interesting through music.
