Summary: Alice is responsible for the development and delivery of research ethics training at the University for PhD students and staff.
In addition to the development and delivery of research ethics training Alice has also been improving the University's approach to engaging research students and their supervisors with the ethical implications of their research. Alice works with the University Research Ethics Committee, University Ethics Working Groups and additionally the UK Universities Research Ethics Committees Group, concerned with national issues of the ethical review process in Universities.
Alice studied for her PhD at the University of Leeds. Her thesis focussed on the extent to which aspects of causation are part of the world around us and the extent to which they are influenced by what is going on in our heads
