Summary: Recent graduate Alice tells us about studying abroad in both France and Germany, and about her dissertation research.
I really enjoyed French and German at School and I didn't want to stop learning languages, I wanted to take them further. If I could choose my degree again I would definitely still do two languages.
Studying abroad I spent a term in Bordeaux in France and a year in Germany. I became a lot more independent and a lot more mature. By the end of the year I was mortified: I didn't want to go home!
For my dissertation I did research on the German School system and migrants in the School system. It was hard work and time consuming but very interesting.
I moved to Germany to live about a month ago and am now considering undertaking a Masters here in Germany.
