graduates invited to join alumni day
Alan Yentob, Nicholas Witchell, and many more graduates will gather
at the University this Saturday (April 24) as part of Leeds' centenary
celebrations. All graduates are invited to visit the University and
take a trip around campus, meet their contemporaries and find out
what life is like now at the University.

of Parkinson Court - its spectacular 1930s landmark - and opens with
three exhibitions representing its history and treasures.

University celebrates its Centenary
From April 22, the floodlit Parkinson Building will once again be
a feature of the city's night-time skyline. This will inaugurate
the University’s Centenary celebrations. Its Art Deco interior
has been refurbished under the direction of designer George Carter
for the first time since the building was opened by the Princess
Royal in 1951.

Leeds is celebrating 100 years of success by conferring honorary
degrees on outstanding academics, illustrious graduates and local
figures in business, sports and the arts who embody the University’s
spirit of endeavour.
