Departmental Research Seminar:

The Departmental Research Seminar is a forum in which members of the Department learn about and contribute to each other's current research projects. We also invite a variety of visiting speakers. Details of this year's programme are given under Seminars and Lectures below.

Classical Association (Leeds and District branch):

The local branch of the Classical Association, a lively group of classical enthusiasts, organise a series of papers throughout the year from visiting and home speakers. These papers are designed to be accessible to a wider audience, and everyone - academics, teachers, students and classical enthusiasts - are warmly invited to attend. Details of this year's programme are given under Seminars and Lectures below.

Northern Association of Ancient Philosophy:

The Northern Association for Ancient Philosophy aims to promote the study of all aspects of Greek and Roman Thought and its influence in later times. It is an informal association, and there is no membership fee. Anyone with a serious academic interest in the field is encouraged to join.
