The recommended translation for this course is Aristotle: Poetics, tr. Malcolm Heath (Penguin 1996). For contractual and copyright reasons it is not possible to make this translation (or its introduction and notes) available electronically.
The translation available on this server is a modified version of that by S.H. Butcher (London 1907). The text can be searched using your browser's search facility (if you are using Netscape, try Control-F), or with the help of the more sophisticated search-engine at the University of Northern British Columbia.
