About the team

The Corporate and Strategic Communications team concentrates on building and promoting a positive image of the University for external audiences.

We've recently been supporting the identity management initiative, which will give the University a consistent and modern image. This includes providing support and guidance on the development of schools' web pages in line with the identity management guidelines.

We also produce publications such as the annual report and Impact magazine.

Identity management

By now you’ll be aware of our new visual identity, and how it’s changing the public face of the University. We’ve been working hard to develop these new guidelines, and we provide support and guidance to help you adapt your communications to the new look.

Over the next six months there will be a drive to ensure all communication materials including websites, printed documents and stationery are in the new style. This will give the whole University a consistent and eye-catching presence appropriate to our status and aspirations.

Publications

We produce a variety of corporate and strategic publications aimed at promoting the University. We currently focus on two main publications:

Annual report
The Annual Report highlights some of the University’s achievements over the year, set in the context of its strategic aims. It updates key stakeholders on the University’s activities and illustrates some of the progress we’ve made in major areas such as research, learning and teaching, international performance and enterprise and knowledge transfer.

Impact
Impact is a biannual spotlight on our research and innovation activities. It celebrates some of the world-leading researchers at Leeds and their impact regionally, nationally and globally. Impact will raise our reputation and profile in these areas and encourage support, collaboration and funding.
