The course is delivered via distance learning modules and electronic mail. The Internet is used to deliver information, tutoring and conferencing. Three, compulsory, one week, residential workshops will be held in the UK over 2 years so that students can be assigned to a tutor and meet staff and fellow students and allow delivery of lectures and participation in practical sessions, seminars and discussion groups. Formal examinations will also be taken during the 2nd and 3rd residential workshops.
