Whatever software you use to view web pages it should be updated on a regular basis. This is important for two reasons: security and accessibility. If you have difficulty in reading these pages it is likely that your web browser may be dangerously out of date.
Failure to use up-to-date software leaves your computer vulnerable to mallicious attack from rogue web page scripts but it also means that you may be missing out on today's more accessible web technologies.
Please check your browser before asking about our web design! (most computers can be set to check for regular updates so you don't have to worry about this in the future)
Warning: older versions of Netscape are now obsolete and do not support web accessibility standards. If you have version 4.x or earlier you should install a more up to date alternative.
Internet Explorer is the most commonly used web browser. It has some advantages in enabling the user to control a range of disability access features. However, some users prefer to use products from other companies.
