-
To allow contributing authors to retain maximum control of
future publication of their own work and its derivatives, while
maintaining as many documents as possible in a permanent Education-line
collection.
-
To assure ourselves that no existing rights to the document or
to elements contained in the document are infringed through
publication of the document or its elements in Education-line.
To support these purposes, Education-line asks authors of papers
presented to Education-line to sign and submit a simple
declaration. Inclusion of the document in Education-line will be
conditional on receipt of the physical signed document in the Education-line
office. The postal address is given below, but also
appears on the declaration form that can be downloaded
from this site.
With a choice of four formats, three versions
of the declaration are available to download:
 |
for single authored papers |
 |
for papers with one principal author among several |
 |
for papers with joint authors |

In all cases the wording follows the
declaration for documents with a single author given here:
In submitting the document to Education-line for indexing, for
electronic storage and for public access through Education-line I
warrant that:
-
It is my own original work, and does not include any material that
infringes any third party's rights, such as copyright;
-
I indemnify you against any of the costs of any legal action that
may arise through the alleged infringement of any third party's
rights;
-
I have the authority to give permission for its electronic
publication in Education-line;
-
This permission does not preclude my publishing, or offering it
for publication in other media or locations.
