Great benefits are attached to walking: It is healthy, does require little space and virtually everyone can participate. More than 60% of our students already take advantage of these benefits every day.

UTravelActive

UTravelActive is the University's active travel project with the aim of increasing walking and cycling levels of staff and students. Detailed information, progress and other updates are reported on the UTravelActive homepage.

Walk it, jog it, run it

Walk it, jog it, run it is a Sport Leeds initiative. Every Saturday morning a nice bunch of people meet in Hyde Park to complete five kilometres on feet by walking, jogging or running. Registrations is for free and all results and photos are published weekly on Hyde Park Time Trial website.
