The seminar will provide an insight into the issues of adolescent violence, and an overview of the PACT programme.

Aggression or violence towards parents or other family members by children and young people is more common than most people realise. It is not often talked about because parents can feel embarrassed to admit it is happening. Violence towards a parent is an attempt to control or bully them and takes many different forms.

A parent who has experienced violence from her son and participated in the programme will share her story with the group.
