Encouraging academic progression and research collaboration, the Festival of Ideas 2018 is a free event showcasing the breadth and quality of business school research.

Thinking about applying for a Masters or PhD in the Business School? Wanting to take the next step in your academic career? From a different Faculty and looking to find Business School research partners?

The Festival has been designed for academics from across the University, who are interested in establishing inter-disciplinary research connections, as well as final year undergraduate and masters students, in all discipline areas, looking to further their education within Leeds University Business School and wanting to know more about the research we undertake.

The event will take place across campus, with sessions in the Great Hall, Parkinson Court and University House. More information, including the Festival programme, can be found on the Leeds University Business School webpages.

To help stimulate discussion and provide insight from other institutions and industries, the Festival of Ideas welcomes several external speakers and panel members, including: Mike Barry - Director of Sustainable Business (Plan A), Marks and Spencer John Burn-Murdoch - Data Journalist, Financial Times Denise Collis - most recently Chief People Officer, Bupa Professor Tomas Hult – Marketing and International Business, Michigan State University Attendees are welcome to register for the full day, or individual sessions.
