You are invited to the lecture given by Professor Julia Buckingham CBE, FMedSci, FRSB, DSc (Vice-Chancellor and President of Brunel University London) entitled; ‘Developing a Healthy Workplace – Challenges and Opportunities in Academia’

Creating a work environment in which everyone, staff and students, can thrive and realise their potential is no mean challenge. Competition is rife in academia, the demands on staff time are many and, as recent reports illustrate, poor behaviour is often not reported.

This lecture will explore the need for a more integrated approach to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of staff and students and creating a level playing field for all, irrespective of their gender and other protected characteristics.
