Visitor Parking

Parking for visitors on campus who are here on University business is provided in the visitors car park within Orange Zone and is charged at £5 per day.

To avoid disappointment, visitor parking must be pre-booked by the host department by no later than 4pm the preceding working day. Payment can be made in advance by the department providing an account code at the time of booking or alternatively cash payment will be taken on arrival by the visitor to the parking attendant. Bookings by host departments should be made using the online booking system or via email to carparking@leeds.ac.uk Permits are valid for the date printed and must be prominently displayed in the vehicle.

On arrival at the main barrier on Woodhouse Lane, the visitor should give their name to the parking attendant who will issue a permit to be displayed in the windscreen.

Disabled visitors who hold a valid local authority disabled badge ("Blue Badge") can park free of charge and the booking request should state "Blue Badge holder". Disabled bays are available on a first come first served basis across the campus. The Blue Badge must be displayed in the vehicle.

For large bookings, please contact Helpdesk with full details giving as much notice as possible but at least 24 hours prior to the request.

Wherever possible hosts are reminded that visitors should be encouraged to use public transport.
