Monitor presents an evening of artists' film, video and performances featuring…

• A very special video selection from Slack Video (Hull)
• Performances by…
  Michael Cunsolo (bringing 'Accidents at Home' from Sheffield/Nottingham)
  Andy Abbott and Dave Ronalds (members of Black Dogs from Leeds)
  Herzog (improvisational classical quartet from Leeds)
• And…
  A delightful selection of visual treats from artists that responded to our open call for submissions; featuring work by Steven Allbutt, June Gersten Roberts, Michael Cunsolo, Janis Rafilidou, Robin Close, Peter Hamilton, J. E. Flynn, Joanna Dunn and Terry Wragg and some others….

Monitor is about providing opportunities, support and putting on interesting art, whilst also looking beyond the narrow confines of the traditional gallery set up. We move around venues, and offer a diverse approach in recognizing the fact that visual arts do not exist in isolation from the cultural activity of the city.
