How to find the gallery

The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery is situated in the Parkinson Building on Woodhouse Lane. The entrance to the gallery is off the south end of the Parkinson Court (turn left at main reception desk).

Travelling to the University of Leeds

Please be forewarned that campus parking space for visitors is limited during weekdays, but the multi-storey car park on Woodhouse Lane is nearby.

Regular bus services from the city centre stop outside the main entrance of the Parkinson Building. For details of timetable and service telephone 0113 245 7676.

Disabled visitors

There is wheelchair access to the gallery from the north entrance of the Parkinson (via Chemistry) with a disabled parking space nearby. If you need help with planning a visit, please ring us.

Guide dogs are welcome.

There is a hearing aid induction loop in the gallery.

Group visits

The gallery welcomes schools, colleges and other interested groups. Education activities take place within the gallery space. Guided tours of the exhibitions can be arranged. Further study facilities are available. Please contact the gallery in advance and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.

Children's activities

An art activity related to the exhibition and art materials can be requested from the Gallery front desk for young visitors accompanied by their carers.
