Tickets
All registered students need to report to the Leeds University Union Building at least 90 minutes before the ceremony start time to collect your tickets and any guest tickets from the ticket desk. Students need to print off their Summary Page via the Student or Graduate Portal and exchange it for their tickets on the day. Instructions on how to print the Summary page is found here. Only students will be permitted to collect tickets.
There will be strictly no admission to the Great Hall without a ticket and there are no exceptions to the rule. Guest seating is not numbered but guests will be seated by the University Portering staff in the Great Hall, excluding the seating area reserved for graduands.
Your tickets will not be posted to you.
Live Viewing
We are aware that most graduands like to bring more than two people along to their graduation day. The University does provide a live feed of each ceremony which will be available for guests who are not able to get into the hall. This will be shown in the Rupert Beckett Lecture Theatre in the Michael Sadler Building. A live viewing is also shown in The Terrace Bar and The Old Bar in the Student Union

The degree ceremonies are filmed for DVD production and for the webcast. By attending the ceremony all graduands and their guests are deemed to accept this practice and waive any right they may have in these activities.
Students will have the opportunity to express their interest in extra tickets by applying for them on this page from 10am, Wednesday 26th June - 5pm, Friday 28th June. Extra tickets (if available) will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Students who have applied will then receive an email in due course with instructions on how to check if they have been successful, this will be sent to the graduation email address submitted during registration. Click here to register for graduation.
Please be aware that unfortunately we cannot guarantee that there will be extra tickets available for every ceremony. However, we will make it clear which ceremonies do and do not have extra tickets to apply for.
