The Centre for Heritage Research, University of Leeds, in collaboration with Leeds Museums and Galleries presents:

A free seminar for museum professionals and academics interested in developing a museum internship collaboration and for students interested in participating in an internship programme.

Aims of seminar
- To consider the impact of internship schemes from the point of view of the student, the museum and the university.
- To hear from students who have participated in internships about their experience and to look at the impact of internships on their subsequent career opportunities and choices.
- To explore the differing roles of the museum and the university in the support of interns.
- To review the impact of internship programmes from the point of view of the museum and the university.
- To review, as a case study, the progress of the new Leeds Museums and Galleries Internship Programme after one year.
