You are here: home - pay, reward and progression - salary incremental policy
If
you’re on the main University
of Leeds pay and grading structure, you will normally climb one point
within your salary grade every year until you reach the discretionary
points. To learn more about how this incremental progression works, read
the salary incremental policy.
Cost of living pay increases
Cost of living pay increases, agreed with the three campus unions,
are additional to incremental progression.
Contribution pay
As well as these regular increments, you can be awarded additional or
discretionary increments for exceptional work. These increments are called
contribution pay, and you can find
out more about them on the contribution
pay page.
Professorial and senior staff can also apply for a salary review as a reward for outstanding contributions or achievements.
Other benefits
Don’t forget the University has a whole range of staff
benefits and development opportunities
open to everyone who works here.
