More about redeployment

The Redeployment Service is the first step in the recruitment process.

We have a number of staff on the redeployment register who are looking for new roles.  Staff using the Redeployment Service are, in the main, on the register because the role they were employed to do is not continuing due to cessation of external funding or their role is no longer required due to organisational change.  This is not a service for staff simply wishing to change career.
Recruiting managers should access the information on how to fill a vacancy.  This will guide you through the recruitment process, including the documents you will need, how to advertise your vacancy and how to appoint someone via the Redeployment Service.

We anticipate that most vacancies will be filled via Redeployment but if this hasn’t been possible, the details of the role and the funding confirmation will be sent from the Redeployment Service to our central recruitment team ready for external advertising.
You can look at the profiles of all our current redeployees by accessing the redeployment register.

If you are a member of staff who would like to find out more about the Redeployment Service, you can do so by looking at our information for staff .
