Conflict in the pre-industrial landscape
Conflict in the Pre-Industrial Landscape is a project being undertaken in partnership with English Heritage and The Battlefields Trust to examine how material evidence for military action and the landscape in which it took place can be better integrated into the investigation and care of the UK's historic environment. The first phase of the project, which ran from 2006-2008, is now complete. Its report is available on-line here:
