Conflict in the pre-industrial landscape

Edgehill Survey 2Conflict in the Pre-Industrial Landscape is a project being undertaken in partnership with English Heritage and The Battlefields Trust to examine how material evidence for military action and the landscape in which it took place can be better integrated into the investigation and care of the UK's historic environment. The first phase of the project ran from 2006-2008, and the second phase ran from 2008-2010. The report is available on-line here:
