Religion and Radicalisation: The Global Perspective

28 February 2018

Aimed at promoting the Politics and Religion degree programmes among A Level students, this event will consist of a series of workshops looking at radicalisation in Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Sikhism, and from different parts of the world. What do we mean my "radicalisation" and are radical forms of religious belief and practice necessarily problematic? This study day will explore these questions, encouraging students to develop a nuanced and critical understanding of the relation between religion and radicalisation. Please contact Lindsey Strachan for further information.
