When you have your results you should first check UCAS Track to see if you've been accepted onto your course.
Congratulations, you will have a confirmed place at Leeds if:
- you were holding an offer from us as your firm choice and have achieved the required grades
- you were holding an offer from us as your insurance choice and have achieved the required grades, and have not been accepted by your firm choice
- you were holding an offer from us and narrowly missed the required grades, but we have reviewed your application and would still like to offer you a place
If UCAS Track hasn't been updated you can call us on +44 (0)113 343 3999 to speak to one of our advisors.
If you do not get a place on the course you applied for
You may have been offered an alternative course youll see this on UCAS Track. If you dont want to accept this course, you can decline it on UCAS Track. This will allow you to go to your insurance choice, or to look for another course in Clearing.
If you dont receive an alternative course offer and you are not holding a place elsewhere, you can apply through Clearing.
If your exam results are better than expected
Congratulations! If youve exceeded the conditions of your firm choice university, you may want to reconsider where or what to study. You can do this through Adjustment.
Remember you can only have one Adjustment offer so make sure its the right one before you accept.
If you'd like to defer your place
If you've decided you would like to start your course after 2019 speak to the academic school who gave you your offer. You'll find their contact details on your original offer letter.
What's next after confirming your place?
You'll receive your confirmation letter on UCAS Track within seven days. Make sure you check this carefully it tells you if there is anything else you need to do, such as sending us documentation of any exam results.
If you have applied for University accommodation you will receive confirmation and further details within a few weeks.
We will also send you a Your Arrival guide shortly after your results have been confirmed. This tells you everything you need to prepare for life at Leeds.
